National Army Contingent Participates in Military Parade in BucharestChisinau, December 1, 2014 — A National Army contingent, consisting of 31 soldiers of the Guard of Honor company, participated today, for the first time, in the military parade on the National Day of Romania, celebrated on December 1. The Moldovan platoon commanded by Cpt. Vasile Ojoga, marched on Constitutiei Square, in Bucharest, along with contingents from France, Poland, Turkey and the USA. Over 2,700 troops of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Romanian Intelligence Service, the Guard and Protection Service and 280 vehicles of the Romanian Army marched within the event.
