Logistics Specialists from 27 Countries Meet in Chisinau

CHISINAU, March 5, 2015 — Representatives from 27 allied and partner countries participate in a workshop aimed to plan the multinational exercise “LOGEX15”, within March 2-6.

According to Head of the Logistics Directorate, Col. Alexandru Zveaghin, at the end of the workshop, the detailed plan of the exercise will be ready and will comprise all the necessary components (multinational synchronization of operations’ order, development of appendixes regarding the logistics support, movement, and transportation and the establishment of a list of accidents and events).

The goal of the activity is to consolidate the interoperability capabilities in expeditionary logistics and to develop the skills of logistics specialists while planning and carrying out missions of training, deployment, support, and redeployment of the military units, during the exercise.

“LOGEX15” will be conducted in Belgrade, Serbia, within May 4-15.

The National Army servicemembers have been participating in this kind of exercises since 2011.
