Minister of Defense Meets with Ambassador of Czech Republic

CHISINAU, April 22, 2015 — Today, Minister of Defense, Viorel Cibotaru, met with Ambassador of Czech Republic to Moldova, Jaromir Kvapil, at the Ministry of Defense HQ.

The two officials discussed about the bilateral cooperation and the priorities of the new leadership of the defense institution. The discussions were also centered on the military education, the strategic military documents and defense policy review, as well as on the National Army logistics issues.

Viorel Cibotaru and Jaromir Kvapil agreed on continuing the dialogue between Czech Republic and Moldova and the initiation of mutual interest projects.

The Moldovan-Czech defense cooperation is based on the Agreement signed between the Ministry of Defense of Czech Republic and the Ministry of Defense of Republic of Moldova on May 16, 2011, in Prague.
