CHISINAU, May 19, 2015 — Moldovan-Romanian military cooperation, participation of Republic of Moldova in regional initiatives, as well as our country’s accession as a full-rights member to the SEDM process were the subjects discussed today in Bucharest by Ministers of Defense of Republic of Moldova and Romania, Viorel Cibotaru and Mircea Dusa.

During the meeting, Viorel Cibotaru highly appreciated the cooperation between the two armies and expressed his confidence that new mutually advantageous projects will be identified in the future. “We wish to strengthen the relationship with the Ministry of National Defense and the Romanian Army in order to harmonize the joint efforts regarding the enforcement of the security and defense sectors of our countries”, said Viorel Cibotaru.

The Moldovan Minister of Defense mentioned the constant support of the Romanian Government and the Ministry of National Defense within the National Army reformation process.
