Admission to Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun” Begins

CHISINAU, July 17, 2015 — Military Academy of Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun” (MAAF) starts the admission for the 2015-2016 academic year.

According to Interim Commander (rector) of MAAF, Col. Ghenadie Safonov, this year, over 100 candidates applied for three faculties — infantry, artillery, and communications. Twenty-nine of the applicants are girls.

The source specified that the young people participating at the admission examination will have to pass the following exams: intelligence test and physical training test. The admission will take place at the Academy HQ (23 Haltei str.) within July 20-23, starting at 10 AM.

Col. Safonov added that upon graduation, students will receive the rank of “lieutenant”, the driving license cat. B, as well as a job in the National Army military units.

The length of studies at the MAAF is four years. The studies, accommodation, military equipment, and food are free for students.

NOTE: On Monday, July 20, at 11AM, the Military Academy organizes the Open Doors Day. The visitors will be able to familiarize with the institution infrastructure, study and accommodation conditions of the military students.
