European Taekwondo Championship Kicks Off in MoldovaCHISINAU, July 25, 2015 — Deputy Defense Minister, Alexandru Cimbriciuc, attended today the opening ceremony of the European Taekwondo ITF Championship. The championship will be held at the Athletics Arena of Chisinau, between July Alexandru Cimbriciuc appreciated the organization of the championship that will bring together sportsmen from 11 European countries. The official stated that by participating at this event, our sportsmen, including servicemembers, will show what they had gained by training for years of training, as they did at the European and World championships in Italy, Canada and Spain. This year, sportsmen from Albania, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Ukraine, and Republic of Moldova will participate at the European Taekwondo ITF Championship. Our country will be represented by 30 sportsmen of different age categories, out of which 11 are members of the Central Sports Club of the Army (CSCA). |
