Ministry of Defense Has Got New Deputy Minister
CHISINAU, August 19, 2015 — Minister of Defense, Anatol Salaru, presented today the new Deputy Defense Minister, Gheorghe Galbura, to the National Army Commanding Officer Corps.
The Minister of Defense congratulated Gheorghe Galbura on his appointment as Deputy Minister. Anatol Salaru mentioned that Gheorghe Galbura is a retired colonel, worked for many years in the National Army. He participated in Dniester war, and has a rich experience in the military field.
Deputy Minister Galbura stated that he will make every effort to accomplish his missions, in order to help solve the social problems of National Army servicemembers and civilian employees.
President of Republic of Moldova, Nicolae Timofti, signed the Decree on Mr. Gheorghe Galbura’s appointment as Deputy Defense Minister on August 19, 2015. The Decree, based on article 87. (1) and art. 88 lett. (J) of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and art. 25. (2) lett. (i) of the Law on National Defense, comes into force upon the signature day.
