“JCET 2016” Starts in Bulboaca



CHISINU, June 8, 2016 — The soldiers of the National Army Special Forces Battalion “Fulger” (SFB) and the US Army 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) are conducting the Moldovan-American exercise “JCET 2016” (Joint Combined Exchange Training) at the National Army military training base from Bulboaca, within June 1-30, 2016.

According to Commander of SFB, Maj. Ion Ojog, “JCET — 2016” exercise’s goal is the joint training and exchange of experience between the service members of Moldovan and American special forces.

The source specified that the training’s scenario includes specific shooting drills, missions, techniques and tactics of small units, training on field, as well as static line and free fall parachute jumps using MC-6 and, respectively, MC-5 parachute systems.

The exercise brings together 70 officers and NCOs of the National Army and nine military trainers from the 10th Special Forces Group.

“Joint Combined Exchange Training” exercise has been conducted since 2009.
