Moldovan-Romanian Meeting at the Ministry of Defense
CHISINAU, June 28, 2016 — The Moldovan-Romanian military cooperation was discussed today by Minister of Defense Anatol Salaru and Ambassador of Romania in the Republic of Moldova, Marius Lazurca, at the Ministry of Defense HQ. The meeting was organized on the completion of the Romanian Ambassador’s mandate in our country.
Anatol Salaru thanked the diplomat for his important contribution in developing the cooperation between the two armies, especially in the military education sector, as well as through trainings offered to Moldovan officers and NCOs in specialized institutions in Romania.
Minister Salaru specified that the efforts made by the Romanian official had a major impact on the reformation of the defense and security sector of the Republic of Moldova.
Marius Lazurca mentioned that Romania and the Republic of Moldova always had a partnership based on trust, friendship, and mutual respect.
The officials expressed their hope that the cooperation between the Romanian Army and the National Army will be strengthened through new joint projects.
