Partnership for Peace Planning and Review Process Analyzed at Ministry of DefenseCHISINAU, April 11, 2017 — State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Aurel Fondos, met with a group of NATO experts who are visiting the Ministry of Defense in order to evaluate Moldova’s progress within the Partnership for Peace Planning and Review Process (PARP). Aurel Fondos stated that it is important for Moldova to assess the achievements as well as the deficiencies in the implementation of the goals set within the PARP in order to choose the best course for subsequent actions. The State Secretary thanked the group of experts for their assistance within PARP and specified that the institutions involved will make every effort to achieve the goals set within the process. The NATO experts are visiting Moldova within April The PfP Planning and Review Process is a defense planning methodology developed by NATO for its partners and is based on the defense planning system currently used by all the Western countries. The Republic of Moldova joined PARP in 1997 and the evaluation of progress takes place every year. |
