Artillery Service Members Train at “Fire Shield 2017”



CHISINAU, September 19, 2017 — The Moldovan-Romanian exercise “Fire Shield 2017” started at the National Army Military Training Base from Bulboaca, on September 18, 2017.

According to Commander of Land Forces, Col. Mihail Buclis, the goal of “Fire Shield 2017” is the joint training of artillery units and to increase the level of interoperability between the two armies.

The exercise is conducted within September 18-22 and brings together 300 officers and NCOs from National Army artillery units and over 20 Romanian service members.

The exercise “Fire Shield 2017” is organized in the Republic of Moldova for the third year in a row.
