Air Force Academy and “West Point” Military Academy Start Admissions for 2018



CHISINAU, November 1, 2017 — Ministry of Defense announces the start to the admissions to Air Force Academy and “West Point” Military Academy from the USA for 2018.

According to chief of Personnel Directorate of the General Staff, Col. Veaceslav Donica, the admission is open to young men and women aged between 17 and 23 years old unfulfilled by July 1, 2017, they must not be married or have children.

The candidates must also be graduates of high school or a high-education institution and to be physically fit.

Col. Donica specified that the registration forms must be sent to [email protected]; [email protected] by November 15, 2017. The required data for admission can be accessed at: http://www.army.md/?lng=2&action=show&cat=145&submenuheader=3.

The source mentioned that it is mandatory for applicants to speak English fluently. Thus, they will take an English language test (ALCPT, TOEFL), the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT) and a physical fitness test. The candidates who want to study in the USA have to access the site http://www.eac.md/testing/sat/ and to register themselves by November 2, 2017 for taking the SAT or ACT.
