The Best Conscripts Go Into the Reserve

CHISINAU, November 15, 2017 — Demobilization ceremonies for the best conscripts are being held in Chisinau and Cahul garrisons within November 15-17, 2017.

At the event organized in “Stefan cel Mare” Brigade, National Army Commander, Brigadier Gen. Igor Cutie, congratulated the 16 soldiers from Chisinau garrison on the occasion of their demobilization and mentioned their impeccable military service. “For those who are going home today and all those who fulfill the military service, the army is, first of all, a training school — here, in the military units and on the training areas, within 12 months, they have been learning from the best commanders”, said Gen. Cutie.

The best soldiers received diplomas and letters of gratitude.

Other 17 conscripts from “Dacia” Brigade from Cahul will go into the reserve on Thursday, November 16. The other conscripts who were enlisted in the fall of 2016 will be demobilized within November 21-22.

The mandatory military service lasts 12 months.
