Moldovan-German Defense Consultations Conducted in ChisinauCHISINAU, November 29, 2017 — The Moldovan-German defense consultations started today at the Ministry of Defense.
During the event, the representatives of the two institutions will asses the military cooperation and will exchange information and experience in the area of defense sector reformation.
At the opening of the consultations, the General State Secretary, Radu Burduja, mentioned how important is the bilateral defense cooperation for the Ministry of Defense and thanked for the support offered by the Federal Republic of Germany in training the National Army staff in specialized military schools.
Radu Burduja also appreciated the Germany’s availability to offer assistance in developing the capabilities of the National Army Weapons and Ammunition Center through equipment, goods, and training.
The General State Secretary endorsed the strengthening of the cooperation between the two armies and encouraged the representatives of the two institutions to identify means of intensifying the bilateral relations and to draft proposals for the bilateral action plan for the following years.
