Honor Guard Service Members at the Parade in Bucharest (video)
CHISINAU, December 1, 2017 — A National Army contingent consisting of service members from the Honor Guard Company participated today in the Military Parade organized on the occasion of the National Day of Romania in Triumph Arch Square from Bucharest. The event was also attended by Minister of Defense Eugen Sturza.
The Moldovan platoon included service members and conscripts and marched alongside troops from Bulgaria, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Slovakia, the USA, Turkey, and Ukraine.
The Military Parade from Bucharest brought together almost 3,500 service members and specialists from the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Romanian Intelligence Service, with over 350 vehicles, out of which 50 aircrafts, as well as over 300 service members from 14 allied and partner countries.
The Republic of Moldova has been participating in the Military Parade from Bucharest since 2014.
