Inspection in a Military Unit from Danceni

CHISINAU, February 17, 2018 — Minister of Defense Eugen Sturza inspected an Anti-Air Missile Regiment’s subunit stationed in Danceni.

The inspection’s goal was to assess the level of training and combat readiness of the staff of the 6th Anti-air Battalion.

Eugen Sturza checked the subunit’s military vehicles, barracks, canteen, and training classes.

The inspection revealed a series of problems faced by the subunit and the military staff. The Minister of Defense gave instructions to the Anti-Air Missile Regiment’s Commander and other responsible departments to undertake measures necessary to solve these problems.

This year, unannounced visits were paid to the National Army’s Maintenance Base and 1st Battalion of the Anti-air Missile Regiment which are stationed in Bacioi.
