The Czech Ambassador Visits the National Army Topographic CenterCHISINAU, March 22, 2018 — Ambassador of the Czech Republic in the Republic of Moldova, Zdeněk Krejčí, and the Czech deputy military attaché, Maj. Petr Šimak, paid a fact-finding visit to the National Army Topographic Center. During the visit, the institution’s commander, LTC Eugeniu Marit, informed the Czech officials about the missions of the Military Geoinformational Service and the topo-geodesy and cartography activities conducted by National Army specialists. The talks also included the possibility for the geoinformational services of Czechia and Moldova to start cooperating in the military cartography sector through exchange of experience and training.
