National Army Special Forces Train at Bulboaca



CHISINAU, April 11, 2018 — The service members of the 10th Special Forces Group of the US Army and of Special Forces Battalion “Fulger” of the National Army are participating in the joint exercise “Joint Combined Exchange Training — 2018” (JCET) within April 2-27, 2018. The training is conducted at the National Army Military training base from Bulboaca.

According to Commander of Special Forces Battalion “Fulger”, LTC Ion Ojog, during the exercise, 65 National Army service members are trained by 10 American instructors on advanced shooting techniques and close quarters combat. The Moldovan military also conduct field training exercises.

The source specified that the exercise includes shooting drills using light and heavy infantry weapons of the National Army and of the US Army.

The exercise “JCET — 2018” has the goal of joint training and to exchange experience between the Moldovan and American special forces.
