National Army – 2nd Place at the Force Structures’ Cross-fit Spartakiad

Chisinau, September 14, 2018 — The National Army service member’s team won the 2nd place at the Force Structures’ Cross-fit Spartakiad 2018 that was held today at “Dinamo” stadium in Chisinau city. The 1st place was won by the Security and Intelligence Service, while the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs won the 3rd place.

According to head of Physical Training and Sports Department of the General Staff Doctrine and Joint Training Directorate, Col. Vasile Olednic, the competition consisted of: running, pull-ups, push-ups with jumps, weight carrying, and others.

The source specified that the National Army was represented by service members from Special Forces Battalion, the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion, “Stefan cel Mare” and “Dacia” Brigades.

The Force Structures’ Spartakiad takes place yearly.
