Military from Special Forces of the Republic of Moldova and Romania Train at Bulboaca Training Area



CHISINAU, October 15, 2018 — Service members from the Special Forces of the Republic of Moldova and Romania are participating in the bilateral exercise “JCET-2018” (Joint Combined Exchange Training) organized at the National Army Military Training Base from Bulboaca, within October 8-26, 2018.

According of Special Forces Battalion’s Commander, LTC Ion Ojog, the exercise’s aim is to build capabilities for fulfilling missions in theaters of operations, to conduct joint training and to exchange experience between the two armies’ contingents.

The source mentioned that, during the exercise, the service members conduct tactical sessions for small subunits, carry out evaluation shootings and training for the special forces qualification course, as well as field missions related to the field of responsibility.

The “Joint Combined Exchange Training” exercise is organized in compliance with the National Army Training Plan for 2018.
