The Honor Guard at Military Parade in Bucharest

CHISINAU, November 28, 2018 — A National Army contingent will participate in the Military Parade from Bucharest organized on Saturday, December 1, on the occasion of the National Day of Romania.

The Moldovan platoon consists of 26 officers and NCOs of the Honor Guard Company and will march in the Triumph Arch Square alongside military from Albania, Bulgaria, Canada, Czechia, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, USA, Turkey, and Ukraine.

The National Army formation will be commanded by Maj. Vasile Ojoga, while the State Flag will be carried into the Triumph Arch Square from Bucharest by Sgt. Victor Goblija.

The Republic of Moldova has been participating in the Military Parade from Bucharest since 2014.
