Exchange of Experience between Military Jurists of the Republic of Moldova and USACHISINAU, November 29, 2018 — A group of service members from the US defense institutions is paying a visit to the Republic of Moldova within November According to chief of Law Directorate of the General Staff, Col. Viorel Remesovschi, the activity has the objective to build the defense institution’s juridical capacities in the framework of the implementation of the Defense Capacity Building Initiative (DCBI) and to identify possible means of assistance for the National Army. The source specified that the subjects discussed during the meetings of the American and Moldovan jurists were related to operational law, planning a juridical career in the army, cooperation with civilian law bodies and internal security bodies. The experts’ group will also meet with the General State Secretary, Radu Burduja, in order to review the Moldovan-American juridical cooperation and the opportunities for its reinforcement. In June, 2018, American military jurists paid a familiarization visit to the National Army military units, in order to familiarize themselves with the activity of jurist officers and to identify the issues faced by them while conducting their service. |
