CHISINAU, April 22, 2011 – About 50 percent of National Army soldiers will celebrate Easter with their families according to an order providing leaves on Resurrection Day.
Thus, during April 23-25, nearly 50 percent of the National Army soldiers will celebrate Easter at home.
Other 50 percent of National Army soldiers will be on leave during April 30 – May 2, when Moldovan Christians celebrate Pastele Blajinilor (Easter of the Gentle).
Soldiers left in the military units will take part in a few religious and training activities. Thus, they will attend divine services organized next to military camps.
National Army soldiers will be served Easter meals on Ressurection and Easter of the Gentle Day. Except traditional menu, they will have red eggs, Easter cakes and sweets.
