Military engineers destroyed 22 explosive devices

CHISINAU, September 6, 2019 - In August-September this year, the engineers of the National Army neutralized 22 explosive targets in the localities from the districts of Anenii Noi, Causeni, Calarasi, Criuleni, Hincesti and in the municipalities of Balti and Chisinau.

Thus, during that period, military engineers were called to the village of Bozieni, Hincesti district, where the inhabitants found on an agricultural land four artillery shells, caliber 100 mm.

The explosives were transported to a safe place, where they were neutralized.

Another demining mission, executed by the team of engineers from the "Codru" Battalion, took place in Bravicea, Calarasi district. They liquidated four F-1 grenades, discovered in the forest near the village.

Since the beginning of the year, military engineers have identified and destroyed about 7,000 explosives throughout the country.
