The soldiers of the National Army donate blood to Chisinau, Balti and Cahul

CHISINAU, September 10, 2019 - The staff of the National Army donates, between September 10-11, blood to the collection centers in the garrisons of Chisinau, Cahul and Balti. The action is organized by the Ministry of Defense jointly the National Blood Transfusion Center.

According to the head of the medical-military department, Colonel Sergiu Cirlan, more than 200 soldiers from the "Moldova", "Stefan cel Mare" and "Dacia" motorized infantry brigades are expected to donate blood.

The action is part of the Action Plan of the "National Program for transfusion security and self-insurance of the country with blood products for the years 2017-2021". It should be noted that this year over 800 soldiers donated blood to replenish blood reserves, including the National Army, in campaigns organized by the defense institution and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
