Military students, participants in the international competition "Cambrian Patrol 2019", decorated with distinctions of the National Army

CHISINAU, November 12, 2019 - Students of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces (AFMA) "Alexandru cel Bun", who this October won the silver medal at the military patrol competition "Cambrian Patrol 2019" in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland North, they were decorated with the medals " For courage" and "For Cooperation" of the National Army.

The distinction was offered by the Secretary State in the field of budget planning, resource policies and military education, Vladimir Iliev, in recognition and appreciation of the performance of young students.

Vladimir Iliev congratulated the military students for the successes achieved in the international competition, which, this year, was attended by 132 teams from 34 countries, specifying that through their performance, they made known the Military Academy, but also the Republic of Moldova at international level.

"By being present at one of the most difficult and prestigious military events in the world, you have managed to test your discipline, training and physical endurance. I am glad that this year you returned home with a leading position, which proves that you have trained diligently and made an effort so that today we, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the National Army, can be proud of your performance ", said State Secretary Iliev.

It should be mentioned that this is the second silver medal obtained by AFMA students at "Cambrian Patrol".
