The leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the National Army paid a working visit to “Stefan cel Mare” Brigade

CHISINAU, February 1, 2020 — Minister of Defense Victor Gaiciuc with Chief of Main Staff, National Army Commander, Brigadier Gen. Igor Gorgan and Deputy Chief of General Staff, Col. Mihail Buclis visited today “Ştefan cel Mare” Brigade, from Chisinau. In this regard, the officials familiarized themselves with the military compound’s infrastructure and problems of military unit staff.

I should note that since my last visit to the unit the staff of the “Stefan cel Mare” brigade has made progress in all areas this is due to everyone’s involvement but also the tasks correctly set by the commanders. I am glad that through joint efforts they have been able to achieve their goals and have proven that they are a team“, said Minister Gaiciuc at the end of the visit.

After the inspection of the military technique, the management of the defense institution identified the armored carrier that will be involved in the events organized to commemorate the heroes killed in the war in Afghanistan, honored every year on February 15th.
