The military, police and carabineers patrol the north, center and south of the Republic of Moldova (video)

Chisinau, March 26, 2020 - The staff of the National Army is on duty and continues to patrol localities, streets and parks to maintain public order in support of the National Police during the state of emergency.

According to the National Army Operational Command Center, at the moment about 300 soldiers on term and on contract and 32 units of military technical units together with the crews of the National Patrol Inspectorate of the PGI and the General Inspectorate of Carabineers, are in several localities in the country, to patrol and monitor compliance with the measures imposed by the authorities and to inform citizens about the risks of spreading and contracting the COVID virus.

The mixed teams of military, police and carabineers ensure the observance by the citizens of the quarantine and isolation regime at home during the state of emergency.

Also, the military and carabineers monitor the situation at bus stations and public transport units on the territory of Chisinau, Cahul and Balti, and other joint crews inspect the localities of Cahul, Hincesti, Singerei and Balti.

In the upcoming days, these actions will continue, and citizens are advised to find out about all the measures organized and to comply with the new restrictions that entered into force on March 25.
