JCB on a documentation visit

CHISINAU, May 27, 2011 — The Joint Control Board (JCB) visited Thursday, May 26, three checkpoints of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces.

According to a preliminary agreement, the JCB members went to the trilateral checkpoint from Gura-Bicului, the unilateral checkpoint at the exit from Bender to Tiraspol and the bilateral checkpoint at the exit from Bender to Causeni.

The JCB members checked the organization of the checkpoints, the working conditions and the supply of servicemen to be able to fulfill their duties. The JCB members also checked the documents of the checkpoints. They appreciated the checkpoints as fit for servicemen to fulfill their tasks with honor.

During the documentation visit, the JCB representatives appreciated the capabilities of Joint Peacekeeping Forces servicemen to act promptly in case of attack. Thus, according to the review performed, JCB members appreciated the peacekeepers’ results with a satisfactory mark.
