Military unit from Causeni, inspected by the leadership of the National Army (video)

CHISINAU, June 11, 2020 - The Minister of Defense Alexandru Pinzari, together with the Chief of the General Staff, Commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Igor Gorgan, inspected the 4th Anti-Air Battalion of the Anti-Air Missile Regiment, deployed in Causeni.

The officials became acquainted with the activity of the unit during the pandemic, the accommodation and service conditions of the staff.

At the same time, the condition of the technical units in the Battalion`s equipment was checked. The Minister of Defense and the commander of the National Army also watched the march of military vehicles and talked with the employees, who are performing their service in Causeni.

"As a result of the visit to the Battalion from the Causeni garrison, we found that the unit continues to operate normally, despite the epidemiological situation in the country and the quarantine situation in which all units of the National Army are. The level of training and fighting capacity of the subdivision was not affected either. Therefore, the military is on duty regardless of the circumstances, fulfilling their specific missions at the appropriate level and that makes me happy ", mentioned Alexandru Pinzari at the end.

It should be mentioned that previously, inspection visits were carried out in all the garrisons of the National Army.

Their purpose was to familiarize themselves with the situation in the military units, the living and working conditions of the staff, as well as the observance of the protection measures against COVID-19.
