More than 700 young people will perform military service on time in the units of the National Army



CHISINAU, June 26, 2020 - More than 700 young people from the Republic of Moldova were incorporated on June 23-24 in the term military service in the National Army.

According to the head of the Mobilization Resource Management Center and the National Army, Colonel Leonid Danilov, after enrollment, the young people follow an initial training course, in which they become familiar with the activity and regime of a military in term, tactical training, front training, military regulations and physical training.

The source specified that the training takes place at the Bulboaca National Army Training Center, the newly incorporated staff being provided with disinfectants and personal protective equipment, such as masks and gloves, in order to prevent the new type COVID-19 virus. Moreover, the young people are supervised and monitored daily by the military doctors in the unit.

Colonel Danilov added that at the same time the barracks, canteen and study rooms on the territory of the unit and the equipped transport are disinfected and sanitized.

It should be mentioned that at the end of the initial training course, the young people will take the military oath, and later they will go to the National Army units to continue the service.

The term military service lasts 12 months.
