The results of the recruiting into the National Army, discussed at the Ministry of Defense



CHISINAU, August 10, 2020 - The results of the recruiting for the current April-July period were presented today during a balance meeting held at the Ministry of Defense.

The event was attended by Minister Alexandru Pinzari, Chief of National Army General Staff, National Army Commander Igor Gorgan, as well as commanders of the Military-Territorial Centers and heads of administrative-military sections from all districts of the country.

According to the head of the Mobilization Resources Management Center and the staff of the National Army, Colonel Leonid Danilov, during that period, more than 1200 young people were enlisted in the National Army, which is 100% of the incorporation task established by Government Decision no.282 / 2020.

The source specified that, compared to previous years, the number of recruits with collegiate and professional technical studies has increased. There were also insignificant changes in the number of young people from villages and towns.

Colonel Danilov added that the highest enrollment level was recorded by the CMTs in the districts of Causeni, Balti, Straseni, Soroca, Ungheni, Hincesti, U.T.A. Gagauzia, Taraclia, as well as the administrative-military sections Donduseni, Soldanesti, Cimislia, Rezina, Dubasari, Stefan Voda, Singerei, Falesti, Telenesti, Briceni, Glodeni, Ialoveni, Drochia and Floresti.

Minister Alexandru Pinzari highlighted the activity of the structures responsible for the recruiting process, which managed to fulfill their missions at the level, despite the epidemiological situation in the country. "I have been informed that you have made every effort to supplement the military units with the required number of recruits. The good quality of the incorporation process in the spring-summer of this year is also due to the close collaboration you had with the central authorities and those of the local public administration ", mentioned the Minister of Defense.

As a sign of appreciation of the professionalism and conscientious activity of the employees of Military-Territorial Centers and Administrative-Military Sections, Alexandru Pinzari offered diplomas to a group of soldiers from the institutions.

At the same time, Minister Alexandru Pinzari asked those present for maximum responsibility in the context of the fight against the COVID-19 virus and the motivation of young people in performing military service on time.
