Cadets of the Military Academy Take Military Oath (video)



 

CHISINAU, August 29, 2020 - The first year students of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces "Alexandru cel Bun" took the military oath today.

Present at the event, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Brigadier General Mihail Buclis, wished the young people a lot of success in their studies and a military career with many performances.

"You have chosen a very difficult profession, but also a profession that requires responsibility, courage, courage, qualities necessary for a true defender of our country. Certainly, during your studies you will have many challenges, which you will overcome with dignity, so that in the end you will become the best in military art ", mentioned General Buclis.

According to the rector of AMFA, Colonel Gheorghe Turcanu, in the academic year 2020-2021, more than 80 young people were admitted to the educational institution, out of which 16 girls, to the specialties of infantry, artillery, communications and informatics.

The quoted source added that the students followed, for two weeks, an initial training course, during which they studied the military regulations, the shooting instruction, the front training, the medical-military training.

It should be noted that studies at AMFA last three years. Military students receive free training, accommodation, equipment and food. Upon completion of their studies, graduates are granted the rank of "lieutenant", driving license category "B", as well as a position in the units of the National Army.
