Anniversary of the "Stefan cel Mare" Brigade and the National Army Center of Communications and Informatics

CHISINAU, October 16 - "Stefan cel Mare" Brigade and the National Army Center of Communications and Informatics, deployed in the capital, celebrated 28 years since its creation.

Present at the ceremony of the "Stefan cel Mare" Brigade, the Minister of Defense Alexandru Pinzari offered distinctions and ranks to a group of military for professionalism in fulfilling their duties.

In his speech, the official underlined the good results recorded by the unit in the battle preparation, but also the acts of volunteering in which the brigade soldiers participated, such as the evacuation of material goods untouched by the fire at the National Philharmonic. "You have convinced us that we can always rely on you, demonstrating responsibility, devotion, courage and sacrifice. We admired your humanity and willingness to help, offering you volunteers in the process of evacuating the objects that survived the fire from the National Philharmonic. I was with you as part of the life-saving action, donating blood and plasma. And for all these deeds, you have my personal respect and that of the whole society", declared the Minister Alexandru Pinzari.

Also, during the event, the most deserving military in the brigade, who pass in the reserve of the National Army, were mentioned with diplomas, military ranks and letters of thanks to their parents.

Today, the Minister of Defense also congratulated the military and civilian employees of the Center for Communications and Informatics on the occasion of the anniversary, highlighting the importance of this institution for the National Army and the entire security and defense system of the country. "Communications have become more and more demanding over time. Today we cannot imagine what it would have been like if information or communication technologies had not evolved so much. Dear military and civilian employees of the institution, I appreciate the effort made in fulfilling your missions and tasks at the highest level, intervening without hesitation when you are asked for help. For all the work you do for the benefit of the defense institution, you have all my respect", declared the Minister of Defense.

In recognition of the merits of his service and on the occasion of the anniversary, part of the staff of the Center received distinctions and diplomas.
