Start of the Postgraduate Course in the field of National Security and Defense

CHISINAU, March 9, 2021 - Acting Minister of Defense Victor Gaiciuc attended today the opening ceremony of the Postgraduate Course in national security and defense

"Current problems of national security", organized by the Military Academy of the Armed Forces "Alexandru cel Bun" (AMFA).

Victor Gaiciuc congratulated the military and civil servants with special status, enrolled in the course, mentioning its importance for the development of the country`s security and defense system. "I hope that the course will make a substantial, professional contribution to discussing regional security issues and, at the same time, contribute to improving the functioning of state institutions responsible for national security and defense," the defense minister said at the event.

According to the Commander-rector of AMFA, Colonel Anatolie Bucuci, this year, in its eighth edition, at the postgraduate course, , were admitted 32 representatives of the Ministry of Defense, Internal Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and European Integration, the Protection Service and State Guard, the Metropolitan Church of Chisinau and the whole of Moldova and the Customs Service, whose activity is related to the state`s development policies in the field of security and defense.

It should be noted that, according to the training program, between March 9 and June 11, the audience will study topics related to politico-military systems and doctrines, national and international security, international humanitarian law, civil-military relations, and other topics relevant.
