In the National Army the conscription process started

CHISINAU, April 19, 2021 - The recruitment process started in the National Army.

According to the head of the Mobilization Resource Management Center and the staff of the National Army, Colonel Octavian Druta, during the first stage, which will take place between April 19 and 20, more than 400 young people will be employed in the military units.

The source specified that, subsequently, they will follow an initial training course lasting four weeks, after which they will take the Military Oath.

Colonel Druta added that the second stage of the recruiting process will take place in July.

According to the Government decision no. 46 of April 14, 2021, recently published in the Official Paper, the recruiting task for the current April-July period is up to 1250 recruits for term military service in the National Army and up to ten recruits - for short-term military service.

The mandatory military service lasts 12 months.
