Moldovan-Polish collaboration discussed at the Ministry of Defense



CHISINAU October 5, 2021 – The Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii had a meeting today with Poland`s ambassador to Moldova, Bartłomiej Zdaniuk.

Bilateral collaboration on the defense segment and the prospects of strengthening the partnership were the main topics addressed in the discussions between the two officials.

In this regard, Minister Anatolie Nosatii appreciated the contribution of the Polish government to the implementation of the NATO / Partnership for Peace project on the destruction of pesticides and chemicals in the Republic of Moldova, by supporting the destruction of waste at SARPI Dabrowa Gornicza incinerator.

At the same time, Anatolie Nosatii thanked the diplomat for assisting in the linguistic and professional training of the National Army soldiers in the specialized schools in Poland.

Other topics addressed during the meeting referred to the priorities of transforming the defense institution into a modern and mobile one, able to fulfill its missions according to international standards.

In the end, the parties agreed on the intensification of bilateral cooperation relations, through new projects and initiatives of common interest.
