More than 1,000 young people will be enlisted in the National Army between October 2021 and January 2022
CHISINAU, October 13, 2021 – The task of the enlistment process in October 2021-January 2022 is 1,050 conscripts and 10 for short-term military service. A decision in this context has been approved today during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the draft decision "On the results of enlistment process into military service in April-July 2021 and October 2021-January 2022", presented by the Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii, the conscription of citizens in military service is carried out in stages, according to the schedule by the Ministry of Defense.
The institution will develop the recruitment plan and redistribute the task of enlisted between military centers. At the same time, at the end of the enlistment process, the Center for managing the mobilization resources and the National Army will generalize the shortcomings detected during the recruitment campaign in the activity of medical-military commissions attached to the administrative-military bodies, with subsequent information of the Ministry of Health.
The second level administrative-territorial units and the autonomous territorial unit with special status will organize the preliminary medical examination and the medical-military expertise of the recruits by the medical-military commissions attached to the administrative-military bodies, in the volume and manner provided by legislation. At the same time, according to the document, the expenses related to the recruiting will be made from the budgets of the local public administrations and the Ministry of Defense.
The control over the execution of the decision is entrusted to the Ministry of Defense and enters into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
The term military service in the National Army lasts 12 months, and the short-term one - 3 months, for which graduates of higher education institutions are incorporated.
