Romanian Language Course Graduation Certificates for the National Army Servicemen

CHISINAU, June 22, 2011 — 16 military and civil employees of the Ministry of Defense have been awarded graduation certificates of the Romanian language course.

According to LTC Sergiu Voinu, Chief of Human Resource Policy Department, “The course was very useful for these 16 graduates, for they started understanding and speaking the state language. We hope all the 16 graduates of the course do not stop here and strive for enriching their vocabulary”, Voinu stated during the awarding ceremony.

The director of the Linguistic Center and founder of the course “Learn Romanian Language in 50 Classes”, Andrei Casenco, pointed out that the 50 classes covered in the curriculum teach students both Romanian grammar and vocabulary. “The program covers all major grammar topics, as well as most important words of the Romanian language. This is a 1,5-year-program meant for Russian-speaking people. Now, what these 16 graduates need is practicing Romanian language”, Casenco says.

The Romanian language course started March 10, 2010 and finished June 20, 2011. The course was organized by Centrul Lingvistic Enterprise at the Ministry’s of Defense initiative.

The course is free and it aims at improving people’s Romanian speaking skills, facilitating their communication in life and at work, as well as improving the quality of work documents and normative acts.
