The National Army Starts New Military Training Year

CHISINAU, January 19, 2022 - The training year began with theoretical meetings and training in all garrisons of the country, in accordance with the Training Plan of the National Army for 2022. In this context, at all training centers of the National Army, exercises are carried out tactics, combat firing, in strict compliance with COVID-19 infection prevention measures.

According to Colonel Eduard Ohladciuc, commander of the National Army, the priorities of the defense institution will focus, this year, on developing military capabilities and increasing the operational capacity needed to ensure national defense, implementing modernization programs, and intensifying participation in international exercises and peacekeeping missions.

At the same time, the commander of the National Army asked the commanding officers to make every effort to carry out the effective training and preparation process, ensure military discipline and comply with all commitments made in the context of the objectives of transforming the army into a modern, capable institution to fulfill its constitutional missions.
