About 500 military and civilian employees of the National Army received the Booster dose



CHISINAU, January 24, 2022 - The anti-COVID vaccination campaign continues in the National Army.

So far, more than 4,000 military and civilian employees have been vaccinated with the full scheme. The highest vaccination rate is recorded in the Military Academy "Alexandru cel Bun" - 98% and among personnel of medical-military institutions and medical structures of military units - over 90%.

At the same time, about 500 military and civilian employees, who completed the primary vaccination scheme six months ago, received the Booster dose, most of them being medical staff.

For the immunization campaign, vaccination centers have been set up in military medical institutions. At the same time, immunization was also organized in the zonal vaccination centers in Balti, Cahul, Causeni, Marculesti, Anenii Noi. A specialized mobile group of the Consultative-Diagnostic Centre is also active in the territory.

It should be noted that in the context of promoting vaccination among military and civilian personnel, specialists from the Military Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense, together with doctors and commanders of military units, conduct information sessions in all garrisons of the National Army. Lately, the information teams have also included soldiers who have already been vaccinated.

Vaccination against Covid-19 started in the National Army in March 2021 and is voluntary.
