Military are trained in anti-corruption, human rights and anti-discrimination



CHISINAU, February 11, 2022 - On February 8-10, training sessions were held in the National Army on combating corruption in the defense institution, respect for human rights and prevention of discrimination in the defense institution.

According to the head of the Military Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Victor Pirtina, military personnel and civil servants from the "Alexandru cel Bun" Military Academy, the "Dacia" Motorized Infantry Brigade and the Cahul Territorial Military Centre took part in the training activities on "The legal regime of gifts, undue influence, methods of reporting and specialized lines within the Ministry of Defense".

During the same period, representatives of the Military Command and specialists from the psychological service of the National Army organized instructional and informative sessions on military discipline, respect for human rights and combating discrimination in the defense institution.

It should be noted that activities aimed at informing and strengthening the knowledge of the personnel of the National Army on the assessment of institutional integrity and combating within the institution cases of violation of military discipline will be organized throughout the year in all units and institutions of the National Army and the Ministry of Defense.
