CHISINAU, February 25, 2022 - About 600 young people who recently joined the National Army took the military oath today within ceremonies held in Chisinau, Balti, Cahul, and Negresti. Present at the event held in the General Staff Regiment "Brigadier General Nicolae Petrica" from the Chisinau garrison, the commander of the National Army, Colonel Eduard Ohladciuc, congratulated the soldiers on this occasion and urged them to show maximum responsibility and discipline in performing military service on time. In the same context, the official appreciated the successes of the soldiers recorded during the initial training course and the efforts of the commanders in preparing them for the execution of the established missions. At the same time, Colonel Ohladciuc addressed the parents present at the ceremony with a message of thanks for supporting and encouraging the young people, assuring them that their sons will be in the unit, safe, and will perform their service on time as required by the law of our country. Similar ceremonies took place in other garrisons of the National Army. Term military service lasts 12 months.
