Round table entitled "Neutrality of the Republic of Moldova: between realities and perspectives", held at the AMSM

CHISINAU, July 12, 2022 - At the Agency for Military Science and Memory (AMSM) was organized a round table entitled "Neutrality of the Republic of Moldova: between realities and perspectives", attended by scientists, civil servants, politicians and experts research institutions in the country. Present at the event, the Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii mentioned that only through a joint effort of the scientific field and expertise, and also through a high degree of cooperation between the institutions responsible for national security can be promoted and applied scientific concepts, theories and research which aims at the functionality of the neutrality of the Republic of Moldova and the consolidation of national security. "The speeches and communications presented at today`s meeting will address the issues mentioned and will contribute relevant and useful interpretations and conclusions to the state security and defense sector," said Minister Nosatii.

The agenda included topics such as: legal approach to the concept of neutrality, historiographical landmarks on the permanent status of neutrality of the Republic of Moldova, the specifics and functionality of our country's neutrality, defense capacity and national resilience, military security in neutral conditions in the context of neutrality international security and others.

According to the director of the Agency for Military Science and Memory, the activity is part of attempts to address the issue aimed at highlighting the degree of functionality of the neutrality of the Republic of Moldova, but also to find ways to condition the security of sectors, state domains, in all aspects. The round table was attended by specialists from: State University of Moldova, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Supreme Security Council, National Security, Defense and Public Order Commission, Ministry of Education and Research, Institute of History, Promo-LEX Association, Agency for Military Science and Memory.
