National Guard experts from North Carolina visited the Ministry of Defense

CHISINAU, September 9, 2022 — Bilateral consultations with a team of experts from the National Guard of North Carolina, United States of America, took place at the Ministry of Defense on September 5-9, 2022.

The program of the activity included discussions on the systemic development of defense planning, the decision-making mechanism and functionality of working groups and committees, as well as other topics related to the planning process.

The working sessions were attended by specialists from the subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff responsible for the transformation process of the National Army, defense policies and defense planning, strategic planning, training, and others.

The visit of experts of the North Carolina State National Guard to Chisinau is part of the foreign activity Plan of the Ministry of Defense and National Army of the Republic of Moldova for 2022.

The collaboration between the National Army and the North Carolina National Guard was established in 2013.
