The Cabinet of Ministers, meeting in working session in Cahul

CHISINAU, September 23 — The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 23, 2022, takes place in Cahul. There are 16 items on the agenda, including decisions of major importance for the people of southern Moldova and the whole country.

The members of the Government will examine several draft laws that provide for the transmission of some buildings from Cahul city in the management of local public authorities, but they will also discuss the construction of a monument in Cahul in memory of the victims of Stalinist deportations and the bust of poet Andrei Ciurunga.

On the agenda of the meeting is included the draft Government Decision on the granting of the single financial support to beneficiaries of pensions and state social allowances, as well as the Regulation on the way of establishing and paying social assistance. The cabinet of Ministers will also approve the semi-annual report on the implementation of the national public budget and its components for 2022, as well as the National Development Strategy “European Moldova 2030”.

After the Government meeting, Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii will pay a working visit to the Motorized Infantry Brigade “Dacia” and the training center for specialists for the National Army, Cahul branch.
