Minister of Defense in dialog with the Director of George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies

CHISINAU, November 15, 2022 — Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii had today a meeting with the Director of George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, Major General (Ret) Barre Seguin.

During the talks, Minister Nosatii stressed that cooperation with the European Center for Security Studies George C. Marshall is a priority and an important training tool in the field of security and defense for the National Army staff.

At the same time, the Minister of Defense thanked Major General (Ret) Barre Seguin for the contribution to the participation of specialists from the Ministry of Defense at various conferences and seminars in the field of security and defense held at regional and international level.

Also, Minister Nosatii highlighted the importance of organizing in the Republic of Moldova the annual conference entitled "Security through Cooperation".

"The experts approaches during this meeting will help us to develop the security sector in the Republic of Moldova according to the good practices of a democratic government," said Minister Nosatii.

Director of the European Center for Security Studies George C. Marshall mentioned that the institution he leads is open for collaboration with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova.
