Junior Command and Leadership Course, at the end (video)



Chisinau, December 8, 2022 — today, at the Training Battalion-military training base of the National Army, took place the graduation ceremony of the training course for junior commanders, conducted by the mobile consulting and training team from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The event was attended by the commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Eduard Ohladciuc, ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Chisinau Steven Fisher, military attache Matthew Ellis Eager, the team of British instructors, as well as lecturers of the Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”.

During the activity, the commander of the National Army congratulated the graduates, noting that the experience gained during the course will be useful to them in the subsequent work of commanders. “Thanks to these trainings according to Western standards, we will be able to increase the role of the junior leader in the management and training of the troupes. Thus we will become a modern army, ” said the chief of the General Staff of the National Army.

In turn, Ambassador Steven Fisher highlighted the high results achieved by the trainees, stipulating that the Moldovan-British partnership on the defense dimension is an important element for the reform of the military field, and the organization and conduct of training courses and programs with young lieutenants is an important step towards the professionalization of the National Army.

The mentioned course was conducted between November 14 and December 9, in accordance with the training plan of the National Army for 2022.
