Exercises with the reservists of the Armed Forces

CHISINAU, March 22, 2023 — The National Army plans to conduct exercises with the reservists of the Armed Forces in the months of April, May, June and September.

According to the head of the Mobilization Resource Management Center and the National Army personnel, colonel Octavian Druţă, the exercises are aimed at checking the skills of the reservists and familiarizing them with the equipment and weapons of the National Army.

At the same time, the participants in the exercise will study the military regulations, they will get to know the material basis of instruction, military technique and infantry weapons.

The persons expected to participate in the training will be informed by summons by the Territorial and Municipal Military Centers, at the place where they have their residence visa.

The exercises are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Law on the Reserve of the Armed Forces, as well as the Training Plan of the National Army for the year 2023 and have no tangent to the security situation in the region.

It should be noted that such exercises were also organized in previous years. Last year, the reservists met for exercises in July and September.

The Ministry of Defense will additionally inform the citizens about the periods of the exercises.
