The "JCET-2023" exercise is being held at the National Army training grounds



CHISINAU, March 27, 2023 — The soldiers of the National Army will train alongside their colleagues from Romania, the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, at the multinational exercise “JCET-2023” (Joint Combined Exchange Training).

The exercise will take place at the training centers of the National Army, between March 27 and April 7, and aims at joint training and an exchange of experience between the soldiers of the Moldovan, Romanian, American and British special forces, as well as increasing the level of interoperability between participating contingents.

According to the scenario, the soldiers of the four countries will perform advanced combat shootings, parachutes, training exercises in the field with specific missions.

“Joint Combined Exchange Training” takes place in accordance with the training plan of the National Army for the year 2023.

Soldiers from the “Fulger” Special Purpose Battalion of the National Army have been participating in “JCET” since 2009.

NOTE: We inform the citizens that, in the context of the “JCET 2023” exercise, military equipment will move from the units to the training centers of the National Army to participate in training. In this sense, we ask citizens not to speculate on the exercise and the planned movement of military equipment.
